Yah, she looks pretty beat. She hardly has tail feathers left, ha. Have fun up in Hasty Brook!
Reminds us that bird life is pretty hard, not just fun and flying around.

I was tired all the time with my twins, but these birds have bigger broods more than once a year. And grandma doesn't help out with babysitting. Good picture.
I wished I looked half as good when I was tired. She is a beauty!
She does look a little stressed. I think I have seen that look on my mom's face.
Wow . . your Northern Northern Cardinals (sorry, I had to) are so much more gray in the female form than ours in the South. Nice shot!

Hopefully the babies will be showing up at your feeders soon & ready to take care of themselves--it definitely looks like Mom needs a break!
Maybe her babies are eating too often....remember those days.
