Good-bye

I'm leaving in an hour for Milbank, South Dakota for a sparrow workshop. It sounds like a pretty intense birding weekend. My room should have WIFI so I'll try and post. Wish me luck!

Your slideshow of the release is wonderful. Have fun at your sparrow workshop! Just think how fun it will be to be able to quickly identify many different sparrows.

Well, after you finish that workshop can you come for a hike with me in the desert? The sparrows are returning and I saw about 15 of them this morning. I could have used your help! Good luck and have fun!

Looks like we are trying new things. Or was it just with my dialup I didn't get past slide shows you made. This is good, maybe when I get the basics down I will try this one too. Am liking Vista better. Getting it together.
Hope you have a good trip, waiting to see great photographs from your trip.

Lynne: Wow! A sparrow workshop. That's really hardcore stuff there. I know who I'm going to come to for difficult sparrow IDs from now now on. Have a great time!

I tell ya, you and Kathi are going to be very useful in Cape May. The Sparrow Queens.
And Laura will help with shorebirds and I will point out raptors. We are all set!

Can I say something without sounding patronizing? I think it is so wonderful that you are getting out there and doing things you love. You've been through a shit year and you are coming out the other side with what seems like a new appreciation for life.
There now. That didn't sound as patronizing as I thought.
I can't WAIT to meet you...in 20 DAYS!

Learn lots at the sparrow thing!

Lynne, Lynne - Hurry back with your sparrow knowledge and check out Susan's blog. I made a grand pronouncement of a sparrow ID and now it is being called into question. I am doubting myself and am about to be demoted from Sparrow Queen to Sparrow Princess.

Help!!!
