Short Update

My mother took a turn for the worse on Wednesday and I cancelled my Cape May Trip, no regrets. There will be other trips. My place right now is at her side. It was a long day of very tough decisions.
The outpouring of prayers, love and support has overwhelmed me- and all this from friends I've never even met. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Lynne,

Hugs from up north. Breathe and take good care of yourself in there, too. And keep us posted when you can.

Oh Lynne, I'm sending you and your Mom more virtual hugs and flowers hoping and praying that she'll get better soon. I know what a tough thing it is to give up the Cape May trip, but the birdies will be there next year.

Lynne, you and your family are in my continuing prayers for your Mom. I wish I could come and sit with you, hug you, and not really say anything but be there just for you.
My knee replacement is going just fine but will probably be a couple of weeks before driving and getting around on my own will take place.

Dear Lynne,
I understand, Mom comes first this time. Cape May will be there next year. You are a good daughter.
Hope you get some rest.
Many blessings friend,
Sherry

Lynne--you are so right--family (esp. mothers) come first above all. You will never regret time spent at her bedside.
Praying for her recovery.
