Hasty Brook is the loveliest place in my world. It's a little piece of heaven in northern Minnesota.
Not perfect? I'd say that is pert near perfect.
A perfect shot of a Red Tail Hawk in flight, what a beauty.Nature Knitter's Mom [Betty K]
Hi Lynne, that's a great shot ofa Redtail. Is it the same bird that patrols hwy 169 from 36th toBass Lake Road? It, or maybe adifferent one, flew treetop levelover my backyard during the GBBC.Hap in New Hope
Shall we name it Audacity?
Susan- Thanks. I've actually never gotten a photo of a hawk in flight before.Betty- Thank you. Isn't she lovely?Hap in New Hope- Yes!! I believe it IS the same bird. I found her on the roof of the old Pem Millwork building on Bass Lake Road and 169. Have you seen the pair in the trees in the SE corner of the 169/694 interchange?Mojoman- The Audacity of (New)Hope?!
I'm impressed with it! It's beautiful! Better than anything I get in flight.
Lynne,That's a nice shot!I'm always WMC (without my camera) whenever the perfect opportunity comes along.Good job!
Well, Lynne, I have to agree with Susan--a pretty darn good picture! I'm still unable to master the skill of photographing a bird in flight. The lighting in your photo is great--especially to see the beautiful color of that hawk's red tail against the blue sky.
I think it is a wonderful photo. I saw a red tail fly over the backyard a few days okay and couldn't even get him in my viewfinder so this is an amazing shot in my books. Congratulations.
It's a great photo Lynne!!
Lynne! In my book - that' a great shot. Was he after something?
I think it is stunning photo! :)
I don't have any flight shots as good as that-awesome!-ps songbird game is on.
I tried to comment twice on this but it wouldn't take it yesterday. I'm stubborn so I'm trying again. Great photo! You caught him in a beautiful position.
How much better do you want? Look at that gorgeous red tail and those fingers on the wings! Beautiful!
I think that it is a very nice picture
I think this is a wonderful shot. The wing position of the bird is great, light and exposure are perfect. And you could always crop a little to get rid of the lower left corner.
Not perfect??? It's beautiful!!!
