Hee hee, I've never heard wild turkeys before. He definitely had something to say! He must have thought Art was up to no good and trying to steal his lady love ; )

It looks like someone has been feeding those guys, maybe neighbors? I don't know about Art "being a goofus" but I got a laugh out of him running around. Turkeys are weird, but neat, creatures. And what a good sport Art is. :-)

What a great video!! Art looks like a great sport too. I agree with with New England. I think Mr. Tom was protecting his lady friend.

Thanks for the chuckle.

Lynne--they may have been more interested in the car.
I heard (on Car Talk) that wild turkeys sometimes go after cars, because (presumably) they see their reflections in the shine and assume it is an interloper.

...haha! It's so much fun seeing and listening to wild turkeys--being "attacked" by them looks fun too!

What a great name for a movie, "Plays with Wild Turkeys." I LOVED the video, especially your husband doing a turkey trot with the birds. Too funny.

Bonding is so much fun.

It looks like they are both males. The second one has a small beard. We used to have a pair of really fat toms that hung out by the feeders at the nature center. We called them Ben and Jerry.

Never saw a wild turkey in this area though I have heard they are making a slow comeback. Your story made a nice post.
