I found a new spot in the woods. A perfect beaver-felled birch tree for sitting in the sun and breathing in the pine-scented air .
A spot to watch Hasty Brook coming around the corner from the west
and flowing away to the east.
Hasty Brook is the loveliest place in my world. It's a little piece of heaven in northern Minnesota.

This is plainly a sweet post. Lovely place and photo of you and your husband!
Those thoughtful, thoughtful beavers. I'm just picturing the Beavers from The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe talking about how you could use a spot to sit and watch the brook go by. :)
Gorgeous pic of you and your husband!
It is always imporant to find those important spots in enjoying nature like the beavers. Can't wait to head over to the next post with the butterfly.
Sounds wonderful to me. Nice couple shot, too.
Ruth- It IS a peaceful spot. Thanks.
Mary- Thank you- Johnny took the picture.
Liza- Wasn't it nice of the beavers?
Mon@rch- I hope I can find that spot again after everything leafs out!
Sandy- Thank you! Johnny was pleased with the picture he took of us!
All these pictures are making me want to take time off from work.
Aren't you a sweet couple!
Nice photos, especially the last one!
I have a few natural benches like that in my woods, but none of my views are as nice.
