Hasty Brook is the loveliest place in my world. It's a little piece of heaven in northern Minnesota.
Never too much! I think I'm seeing Nuthatch variations of a pirouette, plie, fouetté, glissade and jeté:0)
Lynne--hmmm-do you watch birds too much? Is this a trick question? Let's just say--you are for the birds, and let it go at that.
what a cute nuthatch and I can't believe how many different positions they can get into! Keep up the great action post!
This is so cool, Lynne! And no, I don't think you enjoy watching birds too much. Is there any such thing as enjoying them too much?
Would love to see that in rapid motion!
I like the one of his little feets!
I don't think it's possible to enjoy watching birds too much. Just ask Toot and Puddle; they know.
You notice details about birds that otheres might not-fun series of photos.
What an acrobat!! Too cute!
That would be a pretty series, framed , on a wall! So simply beautiful: bird, tree, sky.
Oh Lynne, there's no such thing as watching birds too much! Especially a nuthatch...who never stays around more than 3 seconds at my place, so I'll have to enjoy these picture of yours.
NOT AT ALL! There is never enough time to watch the birds. These are great shots of a quick-moving little acrobat. Whenever I try to get a series, it disappears behind the trunk!Love this, Linne!
Nuthatches are fun to watch. I like how they just hop head first down the tree.
