FYI...

Just a quick note to let you know that there is a comment line about a mile past the end of the previous post. I tried to remove the space under "Edit Posts" but that post appears to be 75% missing! Any Blogger pro's out there with a suggestion? Wonky Blogger!

When I click on "View Page Source" for that post, I see a lot of extra code at the end of the post text - a lot of extra "div" and "br" tags. Not sure what is causing that. If it's possible try editing the HTML for that post and see if the extra tags show up there. If so, you can remove everything that follows the "/a" and "/div" that enclose the (first) Picasa link.

If not, there is a possibility that some element in the post is throwing off the formatting.

I've noticed weird formatting, too--the text in the html window appears on top of the frame, instead of inside it!
And whenever I choose to center a post or ask for a special font, all my lines become single-spaced instead of double.
I don't have the patience to figure it out!
Do you format each section of text separately?
Maybe there's a photo upload that's separated the formatting command for text?

Huh. And I thought you were just going for a metaphor about the loneliness that Man feels in the Universe.

Lynne--I would look at your post in "Edit HTML"--go to the end of the post, where all the space is. And literally remove all the code until you back up to where YOUR text stopped.
See if that does the trick.
When I edit my posts (I am very fussy about spacing, etc.) I use "Edit HTML" but I am not actually doing any HTML coding. I am using the visual aspect to make it look the way I want.
Does any of that make sense?

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. When I looked at "edit posts" and at the edit HTML, all that was there was 4 pictures and no text. But tonight, 4 days later, it was all there. Really. I don't understand it but it's fixed now.

Susan- you are a nutburger.
