I saw this quiz on Red's blog and can you believe it? This is what I got:

Your Power Bird is a Vulture

Your Power Bird is a Vulture
You are always changing your life and the lives of those around you.
You aren't afraid to move on from what holds you back.
Energetic and powerful, you have a nearly unlimited capacity for success.
You know how to "go with the flow" and take advantage of what is given to you.

I loves me some Turkey Vultures!

How funny that yours would come up as a turkey vulture when you love them so.

Everyone should do this...mine came up as an Eagle.

Linne,

Cardinal here. Isn't that a coincidence that your power bird is a vulture?
Turkey or Black? I guess is doesn't matter.

That was a lot of fun. I got a swan.

HA! I knew you would be.
I did the quiz last night, and turned out to be a Cardinal. Since I feared that I might have cheated (I love cardinals), I retook it and changed some answers.
Result--I came in 2nd as a vulture.

Lizette and I tried it and posted it, interesting combination we are.

Now that description of a vulture is good. I'll have to see what mine is.

Had to come back and say I'm a vulture also. :)

I'm a swan? "Graceful and gorgeous?" "Intuitive and flexible?"

How come I feel like an ugly duckling?

Mine was a swan. Kinda cool.

Seems I, too, am a vulture. Perhaps all us vultures can ride the wind together one of these days!

I'm one too! But I'm not sure I want to be one. Why do you like them?

I'm an owl.
Big surprise there.
:)

Lynne, you were definitely a TV in a former life. And I wish you could inhabit Earl's body for a while. Would make my life easier.

: )~

Well, the two Marys are both Cardinals, and yay! Donna, you are a Cardinal, too! Amazing, Lynne, how many of my blogging friends are vultures. Maybe cardinals and vultures are kindred spirits. ;o)

I took that test the other day and came up a vulture. But I went back to it and put in the same answers and got different birds. I'm a little skeptical of this test. I may just be a random listing. But it is fun.

I think you cheated and took it over and over until it came up as a Turkey Vulture. How did you do that?

I did the quiz. Will post tomorrow.

Well, of course you are! I was a swan...lololol!

I too am a vulture. I can't quite see it myself, seeing as I don't really like old, raw meat.

I have a friend who wants to come back as turkey vulture after she dies. She figures that will be an easy life--you don't really have to work at flying, you just stretch your winds out and glide. you don't actually have to kill anything to survive, you just wait for something to die (and something always dies). You don't have to fight off predators, you just throw up on them.

I think she might have something there...

Who woulda thunk? LOL!

I was a little bummed I wasn't also a Vulture, but Eagle is pretty cool too. Reading the description I could have been either. There was one or two questions I could have answered more than one thing on.

OBVIOUSLY that quiz is 100% reliable! Going to take it right now. Do you think they have Blackburnian warblers? Painted buntings? Red-breasted grosbeaks?

FAB said...

Well Lynne I'm not sure what it all means but I'm a Cardinal too! Perhaps I should alter my eating habits. Actually the description seems feasable. FAB

I've been labeled a cardinal.-Better stay away from the roadkill Lynne!

I'm an Eagle - I kinda' like that. I don't think I would like being a vulture (shudder)! Glad they have someone like you, Lynne to love them.

I did NOT cheat on this quiz.

To those of you who don't understand why I would be thrilled to be a vulture, I'll put together a post about my loooove for all things vulture. (Turkey Vulture to be specific)

I turned out to be an Eagle!! That was fun!

NCmountainwoman said...

Of course we know you would not cheat! My anti-virus program warned me not to open the site because of spyware it detected so I'll go though life not knowing my power bird. Or, perhaps I'll check again another time.

Fun description and suited to your love. I checked mine out too. Eagle.

Cardinal here - drat I was so hoping to be a roseate spoonbill. Where did I go wrong?

RuthieJ said...

So appropriate that you turned out to be a vulture Lynne!
(I was a cardinal too)

Finally got in to check. My bird is a Cardinal as well. Rather surprising since they are far from my favorite.

Hola Lynne :)
