"Maybe if more people had a duck in your life,
maybe we all wouldn't be all so mad at each other"
Joe Mansheim
Check out this link that Ruthie sent to me.
If it doesn't make you grin just a little, there's something wrong with you.
(the Minnesota accents alone should make you smile)

That is hilarious!
I was so needing a grin today, and his story made me smile broadly. :c)
I loved this!!! That duck seemed so content to go riding in the truck! (When I was 3 years old, my grandfather got me a duck - come to think of it, I never knew what happened to it!)
That is so very cute. I love that Minnesota accent, too. People bring parrots, monkeys and dogs with them, why not ducks? He sure was cute sitting up on those pillows so he could see.
What a quacker. Great quote too.
That is just the sweetest!! I think a guinea would do well in that seat too!!!
Sorry I don't have time to comment. I've got to go looking for a duck. If more people had a duck in their lives...
I saw this at work when I needed a laugh. I hope Duck in a Truck gets more to eat than banana.
Great. Now I want a duck.
Oh, my gosh, this is soooo cute! I gotta get me a duck now. Yathink Mr. Barefoot would go for it?
God... I love ducks.
;-)
Enjoyed the duck in a truck.

That was to funny. Thanks for the smiles Lynn.
Everyone needs a companion ...and if it's a duck, so be it. What a cute story! The duck seemed to like the trucker as well as he liked it!
OMG this is so cool, Lynne!!! That duck is the boss, isn't he! I think we all need a duck.
What a duck!
That video really quacked me up...
(I couldn't help myself...)
really enjoyed the Henry Van Dyke quote. How do yu find these things?
It's true: ducks have been analytically determined to be the "funniest" animal, that's why you see them in cartoons all the time. (I read that in the New Yorker).
I LOVE this story! I would have missed it if you had not passed it along. Thanks!
¡Quiero un pato!
Lynne, just in case you haven't seen it yet... Sharon (Birdchick) has posted something you'll enjoy: a whole set of "Gratuitous Turkey Vulture" pics! I instantly thought of you. ;-)
