I saw this pretty little moth outside in 29 degree weather with snow falling.
She was a beautiful surprise.

Hasty Brook is the loveliest place in my world. It's a little piece of heaven in northern Minnesota.

Isn't it a wonder what can hang on in this weather? I found an angle worm underneith my water trough this morning at 24 degrees.
I have seen a few little flying bugs around lately, and I have to wonder what the heck they are thinking!
Lovely little moth! Thanks for sharing.
I've been feeling sorry for myself that it's getting down to 35 degrees at night here. I guess I need to not complain about it! :)
But, I promise I'll post some mid-winter Hummingbird pictures to make up for it.
Is that metric eh?
at 29 you would need the air conditioner on. ;-)
Lovely photos. I found your great blog via p at Thomasburg walks.
Wow - that's amazing! I didn't know they could move around in cold weather.
